Erica Brumleve

Erica Brumleve has been a certified diver for over 17 years and has had the privilege of diving in many of the premiere dive locations around the world.  She has traveled to Australia; Bonaire; the Cayman Islands; Costa Rica; Indonesia; Malaysian Borneo; the Philippines; Thailand; and many other fabulous locales throughout the Caribbean and Mexico. 

 
Erica is a certified PADI Master SCUBA Diver Trainer Instructor and over the past several years, she has had the pleasure of introducing local diving to many new divers in Central Texas.

Erica is a conscientious dive professional and ensures that all students master the performance objectives required by PADI for all courses, but she also places a priority in ensuring that the courses are fun, as well!  Erica is also passionate about discussing and advocating for the preservation and protection of the marine environment in which we co-exist as divers.  She is also an avid underwater photographer and some of her favorite photos are included in the photo gallery.

She is a volunteer diver and Instructor of the Dive Authorization Course in Spring Lake at the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.  The mission of divers in Spring Lake is to protect and preserve it's abundant natural, historical and cultural resources.  Declared a "Critical Habitat" in 1980, Spring Lake is home to eight federally listed endangered or threatened species and is governed by the rules and regulations of the Endangered Species Act of 1973.  In addition, Spring Lake is registered as an Archeological site governed byt the rules of the State of Texas Antiquities Law. 

Originally from the Midwest, and even though she was born a "Yankee", Erica now considers herself a true Texan.  She loves to travel and has visited all 50 states in the U.S., and 25 countries worldwide.  When out of the water, Erica has traveled to twice to China to participate in a medical and dental mission and has also volunteered at the Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas.
